Prayerfully consider giving to our Missions Offering on Tuesday, January 31. This offering exists to help defray the costs of our own BSU students who will travel overseas this summer to "fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel." (Eph. 6:19) To date, we have raised $3,185.83 of our $11,000 goal.

Family groups are an integral part of our ministry at the BSU. We are seeking godly student leaders who would be willing to commit to lead their peers in Bible study every week, help disciple other students, lead a local or regional weekend mission trip, participate in BASIC Training, as well as other responsibilities.

The application period for family group leaders for the 2012-2013 school year is now open. You may access the application and more detailed information here. Please submit your application to the BSU office. All applications are due Thursday, March 1. Note that an interview is required. They will be held March 5-7, and you can sign up for a interview outside the BSU office.

In addition, we are offering non-mandatory (but highly encouraged) information and training sessions about being a family group leader after Priority on January 31, February 7, and February 28. Local ministers will be on hand to instruct those interested on how to properly lead a small group.
