Small Group Bible Studies are a integral part of the mission at the BSU. Ranging from freshmen to upperclassmen, the BSU offers several different small groups each semester. During the semester, groups will meet once a week to study selected topics. These small groups are student-led, and the topics are chosen by students. Students come up with a huge variety of biblical topics to discuss and often take their experience beyond the BSU doors and put what they learn into action through mission projects and service opportunities.
All new freshmen and transfer students are placed into small groups (family groups) at the beginning of the fall semester during BASIC Training. These small groups are specially designed for new students and are led by students who desire to help new students adjust to Mississippi State.
