What is BASIC?
BASIC Training is our before school kickoff catered just to freshman and transfer students. We have two days to get everyone hooked into a family group and facilitate their adjustment with games, family group activities, and tips about college life.
What to expect...
BASIC training will be a great way to get yourself plugged in to an awesome christian community. Better yet, BASIC will make it even easier to get plugged in because everyone here is just as new as you are. Even if you're shy, you don't have to worry about being anybody but yourself when you come to the BSU. You'll feel at home right off the bat, and you'll be surprised at the friends you'll make during your weekend adventure.
Some other things you'll do...
- Find out which Starkville church suits you best by visiting local churches.
- Save those Ramen Noodles because the BSU service team will be cooking up lots home-cooked meals throughout the weekend!
- We've got fun and exciting games planned that will let you hang out with some cool new friends while learning the campus and city of Starkville!
- Family Group Bible studies are a great way to grow in your faith and also have a good time while meeting new people. We'll get you plugged into a family group right away at BASIC Training!
