OUR MISSION
Welcome to the MSU BSU website! Thanks for checking us out! If you are not already familiar with BSU, I would like to share with you about our purpose on the Mississippi State University campus. Our mission is to help students at MSU To Know Christ And To Make Him Known. Here are a few opportunities:
To Know Christ
- PRIORITY is a praise and worship service held on Tuesdays at 6:15 pm. Topics and themes are chosen by students that are relevant to student life.
- NOONDAY is a weekly noon luncheon held on Wednesdays that includes a devotion.
- Small group Bible studies that help develop a deeper knowledge of God. This is a good place to build spiritual accountability with other students.
- Retreats, Conferences, and seminars.
To Make Him Known
- Weekly nursing home ministry.
- International Hour and conversation partners.
- Service projects in the area like Habitat for Humanity.
- Community mission projects such as Big Brother/Big Sister, Backyard Bible Club, mentoring in the Starkville public schools.
- Spring Mission Projects to places such as Guadalajara, Boston, New Orleans, Oregon State University, Beach Reach at Panama City, Washington, D.C., Cleveland, OH, Katrina relief on the Gulf Coast, and many other mission sites.
- Summer Missions – each summer students are serving in strategic mission appointments in the U.S. and around the world.

- Drama Team: Acts Too
- Sign Language Choir: Overflow
- Evangelism Teams that share the Gospel regularly on campus.
